Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! That's my assessment of Dr. Campbell at The Art of Dentistry. I first met Dr. Campbell two years ago to get an evaluation for treatment. I asked for a plan to keep the teeth I had healthy, and to create the best smile possible. Recently, we completed the process and I am extremely happy with the results. Dr. Campbell exceeded my expectations. I am truly grateful for his attention to detail, his professionalism and his work ethic. Dr. Campbell is a true professional who keeps abreast of the latest technologies and developments in his field. He uses this knowledge to create a customized plan for you. The entire staff at Art of Dentistry is warm and professional. Selam, his assistant is awesome! She will keep you informed at each step of the process. I highly recommend Dr. Campbell and the people at the Art of Dentistry!

I love and trust Dr William because he is very accurate with his recommendations. Not only that, he is caring, and always think about what is the best for my family and kids. Not like some other Dentist I have seen before who only think about making money.

I have been going to Dr. Cambell since I was 16 yrs old. I'm now thirty. Everyone here is professional and very nice making my visits comfortable and pleaent. Excepts military insurance.

The Art of Dentistry: what a magnificent group of human beings. You go in to have your teeth worked on and you never want to leave. Dr. Campbell is an artistic/cosmetic/dental genius who genuinely cares about his patients. And-- he is a pure joy. I've been seeing the dentists at AoD for more than 20 years now and I can say that all the staff make every effort to give the best care to a patient's individual needs. I never feel as though they recommend something unneeded. I truly appreciate the fine quality of their work. Over the years, depending upon the problem, I've been treated by each of the dentists at the practice. I'm always treated with respect.Now, some background. I grew up in a small town in southern Louisiana where there was only one dentist. He was rough and rushed. I developed a near phobia of dental visits. Later after undergraduate school I moved to New Orleans and the woman who was my dentist was not unpleasant but my phobia continued throughout the 30 years there. I moved to San Diego in 1998 and at the recommendation of a friend who was a patient at Art of Dentistry I made an appointment. From my first visit with Dr. Addleson and René a hygienist I realized that this was a different kind of place. Everyone was quite pleasant the atmosphere was relaxed. Rene took her time with the hygiene procedures. She was careful when working on sensitive areas. That was the first time in 47 years that I left a dental appointment not feeling bad. While I'm not eager to go to my dental appointments (who is?) I realized that I haven't lost sleep the night before an appointment since I started care provided by this team.René is long retired and I've had several hygienists all of whom are equally careful and caring.

I highly recommend Dr. Landau. He is sharp and thorough yet conservative and will only recommend what you need. I've seen my fair share of Dentists throughout the years, and he is easily the best. I also recommend Darcie for cleanings.

I am one lucky girl! I recently complete Invisalign treatment at another dentistry office and was planning to get my teeth whitened to removed the yellowing that happened during the course of treatment. As anyone knows, this is a pricy endeavor. I happened to participate in a fundraiser for kids with special needs and I submitted a ticket into a raffle for teeth whitening. Lo and Behold, I won! Little did I know how lucky I really was... but I was soon to find out.I set myself up to come in for my first appointment with the office, the Art of Dentistry, to assess my teeth for treatment. My first impression of the office was, "Wow!" First, the office is uniquely decorated in a way that feels quite luxurious with interesting art and sculptures everywhere. They definitely see dentistry as an art and not just a clinical practice. Beautiful! But even more compelling to me was how I was treated by the office staff. I had never received such a warm welcome from any dental office...and I've been to quite a few. As for the whitening treatment, they provided me their highest quality product, the KOR whitening system, and gave me the VIP treatment to go with it. I was so overwhelmed by their generosity of time and resources. I had several in-office visits to make sure the treatment would have the best possible outcome. Each time I went in they were so kind and accommodating of my little 5-year-old crumb-making sidekick. I love my teeth. I love smiling a big teethy grin. I was so self-conscious before treatment. The whitening system was mine to keep with extra whitening to do touch ups as needed. Wow! I really did luck out with this!If only I didn't live an hour away...I would make them my dentist practice in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Art of Dentistry, for giving me such an awesome gift. And thank you for being the generous people you are, donating to such worthy causes. You really are a step above the rest!

I found this office based on their excellent reviews when I first moved to California almost 8 years ago. My experience with them has lived up to their reputation and I would never go anywhere else. I have referred my husband and my son and my best friends to the office as they really have their act together and do very high-quality dentistry. I was raised in a family of dental professionals and know what to look for in a dentist and staff. The office is immaculate they are extremely accommodating and Dr. Landau is extremely skilled gentle and never gives me anything I don’t absolutely need. this is a world class practice and very highly recommended

By far the best dental experience I’ve had in my 70 years! Dr Landau and his staff are stellar and provide exceptional service with a smile and the utmost courtesy and professionalism. My recent visit was literally painless! I even get phone calls from Dr Landau in the evenings after appointments to check in.

The entire staff at the Art of Dentistry are professional, friendly and make you feel welcomed as if you are family. Dr. Landau is the only dentist I have ever enjoyed having an appointment with. The entire experience, from the moment you step in the door, is professional, pleasant and courteous. The entire team is top-notch, and give you every confidence that you are receiving the utmost in dental care. Dr. Landau himself takes excellent care of you, and takes tremendous care to share his incomparable skill. Make an appointment, you will not regret it!

I am always pleased with my experience here at the Art of Dentistry! The staff is really friendly and warm and my dental hygienist Darcy is the best ever! My teeth and gums are so healthy that I hardly ever need to see the dentist anymore but I love Dr. Landau! I have been his patient for more than 20 years!

I have been a patient of Dr. Landau's for over 25 years. He is gentle, kind, and takes the time to do any procedures with care and precision. He is very aware and concerned about how the patient is doing and frequently checks in to see if you are doing okay. He follows up by text or telephone in the evening after a big procedure.The office staff members are attentive, warm, helpful, and accommodating.The hygienist I use is Anita, who is very thorough, and someone I look forward to seeing each time.I have referred many people to this practice for many years and they are all always very pleased with the service and treatment.Unlike so many other people who hate going to the dentist, I enjoy it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Landau for over 25 years, prior to him becoming part of the Art of Dentistry. His professionalism has always been top notch and I consider our long-term relationship as much friendship as doctor/patient. The office is very friendly and efficient, that goes for all of the staff. I call the operation gourmet dentistry because it feels very upscale. I highly recommend this practice to anyone requiring excellent dental care.

Dr. Landau's practice was recommended to me by a friend who absolutely RAVED about how much she loves her dentist (bear in mind, she hates going to the dentist as much as I do so I took that as high praise). Every interaction, starting from my initial inquiry, has been with amazing staff and it's clear how much they care about their patients. Everyone from the front office, to the hygienists to Dr. Landau has great insights and they approach care personally and work with you based on your own situation/preferences.

I feel very fortunate to be Dr. David Landau’s patient. He is providing me with excellent care and is truly the consummate dentist, both in terms of his technical skill and also in achieving the optimum aesthetic result – the “art” part of the dentistry. Very few dentists achieve this level of excellence. He also goes above and beyond the call of duty, having met me in his office on a Sunday when I have a dental emergency.The office staff are equally professional and accommodating. My wife and I are extremely happy with the Art of Dentistry.

Seriously, I've been going to Dr. Landau for so long it's like going to see family, family you WANT to see! And I get treated that way too...ALL the staff are amazing. I have been very fortunate that the vast majority of my visits have been for checkups and preventive measures, but I will always trust all of my dental care to Dr. Landau and Darcie, the Queen of Dental Hygiene!

Dr. Landau and his staff are amazing! I have had a lot of appointments with them over the last 2 years and am 100% happy with all of them (cleanings and fillings) Dr. Landau has replaced all of my old metal fillings (6?) with nice white composites and also recently completed some nice new bonding for my front teeth. All looks and feels great. Office is clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and remembers all about you. Even the music selection is pretty good.

I have been going to the Art of Dentistry for over 10 years! They are the best in San Diego! The doctors are phenomenal, the hygienists are so thorough and the front desk staff is always so helpful! Everyone is kind and warm. I have had all kinds of work done - cavities, crowns, teeth whitening and of course, cleanings. All of the services were excellent and the quality of work is beyond compare. If you are looking for a well-rounded dental office, this is your place! I recently moved out of state so I hope I can find a dental office as wonderful as the Art of Dentistry had been to me.

My husband and I have been going to art of dentistry for over 20 years. Yes, a bit more expensive, but worth having the most up to date treatments, exams, timeliness, friendliness, and best quality of work done on our teeth. We live in Texas and make yearly trips to visit family, and get our dental work done!!!! Now that's commitment for the right reasons.

If I could give more than 5 stars... I would!!! I called a bunch of dentists in a panic today. My temporary crown had fallen off on Sunday (in Texas, where I live) and I'd re-cemented it using a product from a drugstore. However, I had put it back in place incorrectly. Tammy and the rest of the awesome staff at the Art of Dentistry squeezed me into a canceled appointment slot. I am extremely happy with the work that Dr. Lantsberg and his assistant Lisa did. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and Dr. Lantsberg managed to inject the numbing agent with me feeling no pain at all! If I lived here... this would definitely be my new dental office!

Moved to San Diego within the year and needed a dentist ASAP due to a filling of a chipped tooth falling off. The filling looks better than any of the five repairs I’ve had done over the years. Best dentist office and experience I’ve ever had by a long shot!

This office and these professionals are amazing, from the dentists to the office manager, to the support staff to the hygienist. It is by far the best total dental experience I ever encountered. They were recommended by my dentist in LA when we were moving to San Diego and we are grateful for the referral. Dr. David Landau is my dentist and he is as close to perfect as you can get in a dental practice. He patiently explains everything and consistently goes "above & beyond" expectations -- including an evening call after a procedure to make sure all is well and to answer any questions. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with their services. This is as exciting as is possible -- about a dental office! 😉

Just wanted to say, the staff here is very friendly, and knowledgeable. Pleasant dentist experience always. I feel like I am always taken care of and my concerns are addressed. I am all about high end dentist, who do a superb job and this place does it. Going to the dentist should feel like a pleasant experience always , and I am happy I choose this place . Finally a place I can continue to seek care at , I’ve been to many but this place takes the best spot.
