Madison, WI (PRWEB) May 3, 2004 – Dr. Lawrence Addleson has been elected President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Dr. Lawrence Addleson became President at the organization′s upcoming 20th Annual Scientific Session in Vancouver, BC from April 27 – May 1, 2004.

I am honored to serve as President of the AACD. This is the premier organization for advancing modern cosmetic dentistry, and I am excited to help lead the profession into the future, said Dr. Lawrence Addleson.

AACD Accredited Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Lawrence Addleson has been practicing general dentistry, with an emphasis on aesthetics, in San Diego County since his graduation from the University of Southern California School Of Dentistry. He is an Accredited Member of the AACD and is proud to have earned Fellowship status.

In addition to serving on AACD's Board of Directors, Dr. Lawrence Addleson served as Chairman of multiple committees for the Academy, including the Educational Task Force, Accreditation and Fellowship, while being elected as the first Chairman of the AACD's Board of Governors. Dr. Lawrence Addleson has acted as a Board Examiner for dentists who want to achieve Accreditation and Fellowship in the AACD. He co-founded the Southwest Chapter of the AACD and is a cosmetic dental consultant for the San Diego County Advanced Study Group.

In order to share his passion for dentistry with his patients, AACD Accredited Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Lawrence Addleson built a state-of-the-art dental facility in San Diego County. He also seeks to pass on the knowledge to other dentists, so his new practice is designed for use in the education of dental professionals. Dr. Lawrence Addleson teaches adhesive dentistry nationally and internationally and advises several dental manufacturers regarding products and materials. He is a mentor and instructor for dental study clubs with hands-on, live patient treatment.
