San Diego Cosmetic Dentist Addleson, DDS - Local Dentist to Present to International Cosmetic Conference

San Diego Sedation Dentistry San Diego - March 14, 2004 - As the incoming president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), local dentist Dr. Cary Behle of The Art of Dentistry will be chairman of a session on cosmetic and implant dentistry in Venice, Italy for the World Congress of the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry. The congress is a gathering of cosmetic dentists from around the world, hosted by the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) which gathers 20 esthetic-oriented dental academies from throughout the world.

IFED was founded in 1994 by the Japanese Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Its purpose is to contribute to the progress and development of worldwide esthetic and oral health and to enhance communication while establishing proper guidelines for member organizations to follow. IFED holds a working scientific meeting every third year hosted by a member academy, with delegates attending from around the world.

Dr. Lawrence Addleson has been practicing general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetics in San Diego since he graduated from the USC School of Dentistry. Lawrence Addleson, DDS is a leader in cosmetic dentistry as well as a mentor for other cosmetic dentists throughout the world. Addleson, DDS is currently President-Elect, an Accredited member and Fellow as well as an Examiner for both Accreditation and Fellowship for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
