Dr. Douglas Campbell, San Diego Dentist

Dr. R. Douglas Campbell is recogized by his peers as an excellent dentist in San Diego. He has practiced general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry since his graduation from the University of Florida Dental School in 1988. From 1988 through 1991, Dr. Campbell served on active duty as a dentist for the US Navy, which included a medical internship at San Diego’s Balboa Hospital.

In 1996, Dr. Campbell established himself as a San Diego dentist with a practice in the growing community of Eastlake, where he gained recognition for providing high quality dentistry resulting in excellent patient satisfaction. Dr. Campbell ensures that his patients benefit from the latest advances in the field of dentistry through his use of state-of-the-art dental technology, and his strong desire for continually advancing his education.

His extensive training includes work in occlusion, function and aesthetics, as well as working with Invisalign®, Lumineers® and CEREC®. In 1995, when he was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, San Diego's Dr. Campbell made the decision that he would study only under the guidance of the finest clinicians in the world, a decision that ultimately resulted in partnering with Dr. Larry Addleson, cosmetic dentist in San Diego, at The Art of Dentistry, beginning in spring 2007. In addition, Dr. Campbell has been honored in Top Dentists since 2007.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Campbell currently resides in Coronado with his wife Mia and their son Sean. His interests include traveling, snow skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, SCUBA diving, and photography.
