He was awarded Fellowship (FAACD) in the highly respected American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and is a Board Examiner for both Accreditation and Fellowship of the AACD.
Dr. Addleson has also served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the AACD, now known as the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition he served as President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2004-2005.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry offers six levels of membership, from general members with no requirements other than membership up to the most accomplished level, accredited fellow. Recipients of the title “Accredited Fellow” are required to pass oral and written exams along with submitting 50 examples of their dentistry for peer examiners to evaluate.
